If spooky season is your favorite season, it's time to start counting down!

Universal Orlando has been steadily revealing details for Halloween Horror Nights 35, and this year's event is already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most exciting in the event's history. Celebrating 35 years of fear, HHN 2026 will feature returning icons, terrifying original stories, blockbuster horror franchises, and all-new entertainment.

Here's everything we know so far!

Event Dates

Halloween Horror Nights 35 will take place on select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026, at Universal Studios Florida.

Remember, Halloween Horror Nights is a separately ticketed event, so admission to Universal Studios Florida during the day does not include entry to HHN. Event tickets, Express Passes, R.I.P. Tours, and vacation packages are already on sale, and the most popular dates are expected to sell out well before Halloween.

Welcome to the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, Halloween Horror Nights will transform Universal Studios Florida into the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.

This sinister carnival will serve as the backdrop for the entire event, bringing together haunted houses, scare zones, entertainment, and the return of two of HHN's most iconic characters.

Leading the festivities are none other than Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow, who will act as the twisted ringmasters of this year's nightmare. Longtime HHN fans know these legendary icons have deep roots in Horror Nights history, making their return one of the biggest announcements of the season.

Confirmed Haunted Houses

Universal has already announced eight of this year's ten haunted houses, and the lineup is packed with both original concepts and fan-favorite franchises.

Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control

Step into the twisted rivalry between Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow as chaos and control collide in this original haunted house celebrating HHN's legendary icons.

Stranger Things 5

Return to Hawkins one last time as you experience the final season of Netflix's hit series. Face Vecna, Demogorgons, and the terrifying final battle between good and evil.

Sinners

Based on one of this year's biggest horror films, this haunted house drops guests into a celebration that quickly descends into terror as bloodthirsty vampires emerge from the shadows.

Hellraiser

For the first time ever, the iconic Hellraiser franchise comes to Halloween Horror Nights. Encounter the Cenobites, the infamous Lament Configuration, and horrors beyond imagination inspired by the original film trilogy.

H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!

Everyone's favorite maître d'macabre returns to WKNB for a special Halloween scare-a-thon! Step into a haunted television broadcast packed with monsters, gore, twisted humor, and the over-the-top horror that keeps fans coming back year after year.

MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals

The animals may be gone, but survival is anything but guaranteed. Explore a defunct zoo that has become the deadly territory of rival cannibal factions where you'll quickly discover you're at the bottom of the food chain.

Cybergoria

Journey thousands of years into the future, where machines have taken control and found terrifying new ways to preserve humanity forever. This original sci-fi nightmare promises a unique blend of technology and terror.

INVASION: Alien Abduction

A remote farmhouse becomes the site of a horrifying extraterrestrial attack when a ship full of mysterious Gray aliens arrives searching for fresh human test subjects. Prepare for close encounters unlike anything you've experienced before.

Two haunted houses have yet to be announced, so there's still plenty of mystery surrounding this year's lineup.

New Live Show: Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir

One of HHN's most popular traditions is back with an all-new production.

Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir invites guests on a dark musical journey through a vampire-ridden metropolis where temptation lurks around every corner. Combining breathtaking choreography, incredible special effects, pulse-pounding music, and death-defying stunts, this year's show looks to continue the fan-favorite legacy of the Nightmare Fuel series.

If you've never stopped to watch one of these performances during Halloween Horror Nights, this is the year to make time for it.

Scare Zones Are Still Under Wraps

While Universal has confirmed that this year's event will fully embrace the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares theme, the individual scare zones have not yet been officially revealed.

If previous years are any indication, guests can expect multiple immersive scare zones throughout the park, each filled with elaborate sets, roaming scareactors, and countless opportunities for unexpected frights.

We'll update this post as soon as Universal announces the official scare zone lineup.

More Than Haunted Houses

Halloween Horror Nights is about much more than just the haunted houses.

Guests can also enjoy:

  • Live entertainment

  • Immersive scare zones

  • Limited-time food and beverages

  • Specialty cocktails

  • Exclusive merchandise

  • The Tribute Store

  • Select attractions open during the event

Whether you're hunting for exclusive merchandise or trying every spooky snack on the menu, there's plenty to experience between the screams.
