DISNEY + UNIVERSAL RIDE HEIGHT CHECKER
Big vacation dreams, little adventurers. Enter your child’s height in inches or centimeters and choose your Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando parks, including Epic Universe. Our free checker compares that height with listed ride requirements and highlights companion rules to help you plan. Park staff make the final boarding decision; meeting a height requirement does not guarantee eligibility to ride.
RIDE HEIGHT CHECKER FAQ
How does the Disney + Universal Ride Height Checker work?
Enter your child’s height in inches or centimeters, choose an age group, and select your parks. The tool groups listed rides by whether your child meets the published height requirement, needs a companion, or is below the minimum.
Does meeting the height requirement guarantee my child can ride?
No. Park staff make the final measurement and boarding decision. Seating, restraint fit, age, health advisories, and other attraction rules also apply.
Why do some rides require a companion?
Disney requires children under age 7 to board with someone age 14 or older. Universal has supervising-companion requirements for children below its ride-alone height threshold. The results highlight these rules and any special ride-specific notes.
Are rides with no minimum height included?
Yes. However, no minimum height does not mean every infant or young child can ride. Some attractions require independent sitting or standing and do not allow hand-held infants. Check the posted rules and ask park staff.
Does this checker show every attraction or current closures?
No. It covers listed ride experiences across seven theme parks, including Epic Universe. Shows, character greetings, play areas, and water parks are excluded. It does not track live closures, and requirements should be confirmed before your visit.
